Your crowdfunding campaign is live and the pledges are rolling in. It looks like you’re going to exceed your funding goal soon. Your product is awesome, your marketing’s on point, and the community you’ve built is growing. You probably feel like kicking back and taking a well-deserved break to celebrate your crowdfunding success.
Not so fast.
In many ways, the real challenge is still ahead of you. A successful crowdfunding campaign is a commitment to every backer that you’re going to give them what they paid for in a reasonably timely way. The more backers you have, the more complicated your post-campaign logistics are likely to be -- and the more critical it becomes to have an effective way to manage your backers and the various pledges they’ve made.
