“Delivered:” is a series in which we look at crowdfunded ideas that have successfully shipped to their supporters. We dive into the final product, after its long journey from concept to fulfillment.
Natural, organic, biodegradable, Oumi bath towel is perfect for my skin and the environment. The creator of the woolly mammoth towel decided to create the towel when he stumbled across the Rolls Royce of bath towels. It was luxuriously plush, highly absorbent, and felt amazing to use. As amazing as the towel was, it was not organic. And when he set out to purchase his own, he found that the towel was priced at $115. Oumi as a company wants to provide consumers with a bath towel that is not only luxurious, but also organic and inexpensive. I was able to purchase their quality towel for a fair price, and have been very happy with the towel and mission of this company.
All of the Oumi towels have a mammoth coat that create their luxurious feel. They are made with high pile formations that are up to 3 times longer than those of average towels. They two ply yarn process adds to the the strength, plushness, absorption, and comfort of the towels. 100% organic cotton was used to keep the towels soft while also super absorbent. They are very plush and soft on my skin.
Oumi Towels are made specially to be environmentally friendly, organic, and chemical free. They use a natural sizer made from a starch compound (potato and corn) and coconut oil to coat the towels in place of harsher chemicals. The towels are free of optical brightening agents which are very hard on the environment and my skin. Woolly Mammoth towels are naturally clean on the inside and out so that I don’t have to worry about harsh chemicals.
Oumi towels feel very luxurious, each of them comes with a hook so that I can hang them to dry. This has been very helpful with how absorbent the towels are. They come in a range of colors. I have been very happy with this clean and environmentally friendly product. You can find out more about the Oumi towels and their campaign by visiting the links below.
