SINK is the most critically acclaimed new crime/ horror comic series in decades collected for the first time. It is a series of stand alone tales that take place in a warped mirror house version of Glasgow Scotland. The comic book has already become very popular and ha been reviewed by HorrorTalk, Big Comic Page, Pop Culture Podium, Comic Bastards, and Geekery Magazine. I was excited to receive a copy and reading it has been terrifying.

SINK was written by John Lees who is an award winning comic book writer from Glasgow Scotland. He is known for his work on the horror series AND THEN EMILY WAS GONE and other horror comics. The stories in SINK are uncomfortable and edgy, it is intriguing , well illustrated and thought provoking. The comic is graphic and contains blood and gore galore making for a very creepy comic book.

The setting of SINK is very scary and had me on the edge of my seat. “A forgotten East End district of a warped funhouse mirror vision of Glasgow, Scotland, Sinkhill is a hive of crooks, deviants and killers, and ordinary folk unfortunate enough to live among them”. “If killer clowns prowl the streets in a blue van, a shovel-wielding vigilante in a fox mask serves brutal justice after dark, and the last bus home is always full of corpses, well, pal...you must be in Sinkhill!”

SINK has a couple different options that I was able to choose from, a limited edition hard cover, a ComixTribe “Virgin” Variant softcover trade, and a direct market edition softcover trade. There was also a collectors box where I could purchase an enamel pin, clown nose, a book plate, Mr Dig and Killer Clown paper toys, and so much more.  To find out more about SINK you can view the links below to see more of the comic or to see their kickstarter campaign.
