“Game On” is a series in which we examine the companies, creators, and games in crowdfunding. We look at the journey, ideas, and concepts the creators wanted to bring to market with their product.

The creators of Aeon Trespass believe that art does not exist in a void. Their company, Into the Unknown, loves world-building and game design filled with epic tales of adventure, journey, war, giant monsters, grizzled anti heroes, and epic tales of adventure. They created their company to talk ambitious and unique projects and to explore strange and beautiful new worlds. Over the years they have been involved in almost every facet of the fantasy hobby world, creating role playing games, writing fiction novels, designing board games, and producing video games.

On the heels of their successful Nymphs campaign comes Aeon Trespass: Eschaton, a beautiful series of highly dynamic resin miniatures. Into the Unknown launched their Kickstarter campaign on September 3, 2018. A few hours into the campaign they were two thirds of the way to their funding goal. They announced their first stretch goal which was a hint to the Argonauts that would be revealed when the stretch goal was met. Their entire campaign was funded in under 16 hours. Overall their campaign was able to successfully raise $26,590 and reach 265% of the target goal.

The Eschaton are “a beautiful series of highly dynamic resin miniatures of powerful titans and monsters inspired by Greek mythology and the Science Fantasy genre. Each character and creature is depicted in the Heroic 35mm scale, perfect for Painters, Collectors, RPG Players, and Wargamers alike. The miniatures vary in size, from 42mm for the lowliest of Titans to whopping 140mm of the colossal Alpha Temenos! Each set comes with a scenic base (30mm, 50mm, 60mm or 100mm!), an art print with the mini’s lore printed on the back, and a hand-numbered authenticity note. Everything is enclosed in a hand-stamped kraft box.”

Each of the Eschaton Titan resin figures come with a backstory that is told about them and a role that they play. The Titan and Primordial miniatures were inspired by Greek Mythology and so will fit into any Greek Mythology collection or game but will also feel at home in any Fantasy and Sci-Fi settings.
