“Delivered:” is a series in which we look at crowdfunded ideas that have successfully shipped to their supporters. We dive into the final product, after its long journey from concept to fulfillment.

When it comes to my bed, quality and comfort come before anything else. That’s why I love Living Cocoon’s bedding collection. Their hand-made, organic, and chemical free bedding brings the most relaxed and comfortable experience and an investment in a better night’s sleep.

Climbing into a cozy bed at night is the ultimate reward for a long day. Living Cocoon’s bedding instantly upgraded my bedroom. Their timeless design means I don’t have to worry about a trendy piece going out of style in a year or two. Their natural cotton material provides increased softness and comfort as time goes by, getting better with age. The blankets and comforters are hand stitched by an experienced artisan, and the work is beautifully done. I didn’t realize hand stitching enhanced the fluffiness and coyness that can’t happen with a machine. These blankets are naturally cuddly, and the fact that they’re machine washable is one of my favorite features.

I try my best to bring in organic products into my home, and knowing each blanket is made from 100% organic cotton helps me feel good about wrapping myself and my kids up in them. Cotton also allows for an increase of air circulation so it’s harder to overheat. Living Cocoon not only regulates body temperature, but it also has reduced stiffness so it is soft and strong while being toxin-free.

While I don’t know much about different fabric, their blankets are made with a custom constructed French voile fabric with an added luxury you can feel. There are five colors to choose from: Black & Yellow, Ocean, Fossil Grey, Charcoal, and Pearl White. The two different sizes mean there’s a blanket for every bed. The 86”x64” blanket is best for queen-sized beds, park blanket, camping, and building forts in the basement. The 90”x90” is excellent for king beds, as a queen bed comforter, camping and building an even bigger fort in the basement.
